Hiking the Mountains Trails in Hawaii!
JJ had to work during the week so he booked hiking trail tours for me.
On Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday I went on three different trails in the mountains.
I was a part of a group of twelve with a guide.

This is the trail that I went on Monday.
Don't even ask me how to pronounce the name of it!

This picture was taken when we made it to the top of the mountain. Our guide is pointing to a mountain top across the way. That is the mountain that I hiked up on Tuesday.

We walked through giant bamboo. They sounded like giant wind chimes as the wind blew them.

On Tuesday we hiked deep into a rain forest and climb a mountain side to see a very tall water fall.

It really rains in the rain forest.
Our guide gave us punchos.

Hiking through all of that rain and mud and slippery rocks was all worth it when I finally saw that giant water fall.

I wish you all were there to see how tall this water fall is.

Stephen Speilberg used this water fall in The Lost World: Jurassic Park.

On Wednesday I went with a group to another part of the island to Kualoa Ranch. It is a huge ranch with lots of outdoor activities to do. JJ booked the movie set tour for me. On this property they filmed many movies and TV shows. I got to see where they film parts of the TV show "LOST".

This is from the movie "Godzilla". That hole in the ground is one of his footprints.

This a spot from a scene in Jurassic Park.

Come back to see my next post!
